That was close and not bad how the ridgid did against the Flex.

That Ridgid 4-mode kicks some serious butt! Handicapped with a 6.0ah battery that has 18650 cells and it hung in there admirably against the Flex stacked lithium, which has arguably best battery technology on the market today. Way to go Ridgid!

Was not expecting it to be that close. No do that ridgid vs Dewalt.

Oh my god, I can save about 20 ms by just using Flex tools. Heading over to Lowes now

This dude pushes hard on Flex. Literally pushing flex harder to make it the winner

Yes sir and do that 10 times and the flex will be overheating for sure, also make sure you have the same height on the screws the flags have an advantage there

The real question I think is if that’s using flex’s turbo button how long can each last before the tool quits bc I’ve noticed while using the turbo button the flex tools WILL over heat.

Does anyone really run a battery that large regularly on their impact driver? I could see using them for a miter/table saw, angle grinder or 1/2" impact wrench. I feel like anything over 4ah would make the impact too heavy. Aren't impact drivers meant to be small, compact and low profile? I'm just a DIYer, so I have no use for a battery that large on my impact. Genuinely curious

Love to see it against the Milwaukee gen 4

Rigid is still better than all those newer shitty brands and it’s been out there way more longer than all these newer stupid brands. Don’t last that long.

OK, i actually work at lowes.. I'll tell you straight away.. the ridgid is a better deal if you timed it right you could have gotten the kit with the hammer drill.. plastic case, impact driver, charger max output 4 and 6 ah batteries for 217$ usd plus tax.. regardless of the minimal difference in time with the non stacked ridgid battery vs the stacked flex.. and the fact flex has had some battery issues. Plus i believe flex should add a little color to the grey.. maybe just some blue or the bright green to add some visual appeal the the line.

A 24v supposed to beat a 20 v and or any voltage below it

I'll keep my Ridgid..Flex to bulky

But Ridgud is a better option overall they have way to many tools including plumbing while Flex is really expensive and has a very very limited inventory
