Ennio Morricone...You are the biggest gift for the entire humanity.

One of the most beautiful themes on the soundtrack. Such a sad melody which indicates the melancholic reunion with the brothers. I love the ending when Blondie gives his cicar to Tuco and when Tuco begins to smile the main theme bursts out! I just love it!

This is one of the most haunting, sad, and beautiful pieces of music ever written. I am a published author of westerns and I often listen to Morricone's music when i need to write specific scenes. He never lets me down for inspiration where I need it!

Give me a song that expresses regret and bitterness more than Padre Ramirez and I'll give you a pig that flies.

some people can really make music that goes to the heart. Simple and melancholic.

I loved this from the very moment I first saw this masterpiece decades ago. This is one of the best Scores I have ever heard. Absolutely beautiful. Ennio Morricone was a remarkable composer. This whole soundtrack is amazing!

*Tuco*: "where we came from, if one did not want to die in poverty, one became a priest or a bandit! You chose your way, I chose mine. Mine was harder! You talk about Mother and Father... you forget that when you left to become a priest I stayed behind! I must have been ten, twelve, I don't remember which, but I stayed! I tried, but it was no good! Now I'm going to tell you something... you became a priest because you were too much of a coward to do what I do!"
*Ramirez*: "Tuco... please forgive me."
One of the most powerful scenes in the trilogy, Eli Wallach knocked every character in the movie out of the park after his confronting with his brother.

If you pick out this and other Morricone tunes on a guitar or keyboard, it is usually just a few minor chords and majors, the first thing we probably learn about music. Nothing that complicated. THIS was the genius of Morricone, he could so much with a few notes.
