I agree with what you said at 3:14 about Multimatic being the chassis supplier but I was wondering what the relationship between Multimatic and Aston Martin is. I know Porsche is using Multimatic as their chassis supplier but also saw Aston Martin has had some collaboration with them too.

A very loose connection, but Ford sort of participated in the 1991 Sportscar World Championship as it was their HB engine, badged as a Jaguar, that powered the Jaguar XJR-14. Which went on to claim that year’s title. And as we know, Ford owned Jaguar back then.

I would love to see Chip Ganassi come back with Ford. I was really disappointed to see them step back. Ford has been making some good moves. I primarily focus on NASCAR on my channel and have repeatedly knocked on Ford for not having a serious driver development program, but I’ve noticed that over the last few months they’ve made some really positive moves on that front too. Really glad to see it.
