While I know well about Oreca, Ligier and Dallara, I've never heard of Multimatic before it has been announced as the builder of the new Porsche.
But I have to say I'm impressed after I learned about the connection with the special Aston Martin vehicles or the Mazda LMP or the Mercedes.

Only thing you missed was how I believe they purchased Lola when it when bankrupt and Multimatic was also the designer behind the 919 suspension, and helped make the crazy level 5 d sports racer.

Good story, but I hate the fact so many fans believe that the 963 is a full on Porsche. It's a Multimatic with a Porsche engine. Same as the Cadillac is truly a Dallara.

the whole reason the lmp2 didnt really work well was because the aero design was done by riley. They hadn't built a high level prototype racecar in a long time and it showed as their design was much draggier than the other lmp2's
