iPhone autocorrect in two languages

If you're bilingual or learning a second language (or multilingual) you'll want your iPhone or iPad to stop autocorrecting into the wrong language. You can set this easily on iOS..

Well, the big problem is that when I type in English the iPhone suggest Spanish words and the same thing happens if i type in Spanish iPhone suggest English words. That’s really annoying.

I just installed ios 18 and it totally screwed up the setup as you described that was working fine under ios 17. I removed dictionaries, re added and still a simple email text makes tonnes of mistakes that did not make under 17. What else can I try, thanks a bunch.

The thing is, this feature isn’t available for all keyboards that exist on the iPhone. For example, the Polish keyboard doesn’t have this feature. While I was learning Polish, I used to rely on it, and now I’m struggling with typing difficult words without any help. :/

Just deactivate it. Sometimes it even autocorrect stuff that isn’t even in any of the languages you are using…Actually I would even debate that it doesn’t even exist in the first place sometimes.
