Unity tutorial: how to properly upgrade Unity and transfer your old projects to the newer versions

This is a complete workflow for upgrading Unity and migrating old Unity projects to the newer versions. It's a large scene that I created few months ago (last year). I needed to upgrade to the latest version of Unity. And I also needed that scene to be working in the new version as I'm planning to use it in a virtual reality experience. This is probably something that every Unity developer has faced before. Although the game could be played after migration, several issues were observed. You may face different errors than mine. However, that's the way around it. Some of them can be easily fixed by re-importing and upgrading assets especially those from Unity Asset Store. However, there are lot's of small tricks. I tried to make the video as short as possible. It took me less than an hour to fix everything. Most of the issues are related to .cs files. If you are a C# programmer and you write your own code or script you can easily fix them. I'm not a programmer. However, with a quick Google search you can find your way around and fix a couple of lines in .cs files. Remember that you need to perform a clean uninstall. I prefer not to update Unity at the middle of my projects. I recommend you to do the same.
