Hi sir, I want to read the file line by line, and display to multi JTextField. let say i have 10 line, and i do have 10 JTextField to display line by line for the file, EX: JTextField1 display line1, and JTextField2 Display line2...and so on. please help to have this tutorial. thanks for sharing

When I am using this line I am getting a stange out put


br = new BufferedReader(new FileReader("myfile2.txt"));
while(br.readLine() != null)
{

}



new file2
new file4


When my file data is :


PrintWriter pwd = new PrintWriter(file);
pwd.println("new file");
pwd.println("new file2");
pwd.println("new file3");
pwd.println("new file4");


Why it is reading alternate lines when I use above code?

why did we make bufferreader as null.cant we do a normal
try{
bufferreader br =new buffer reader;
br.readline(filename.txt);

ik this might sound foolish.but usually thisis something i would expect.so why null and !null.
