Comparing Budget Retro Mics from Amazon & eBay

I've seen these inexpensive (sub-$40) retro-style microphones showing up on Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, etc and wanted to check them out. The first is a PDMICR42-BK from Pyle and the second is a 5Core RTRO-MIC-CHBL.

The SM57 has the warmest sound of the three which I like, but the "bite" of the 5Core definitely adds character to the guitar sound.
Thanks for the experiment!

Honestly they seemed to be OK. I have used the Sure 55 since it was reintroduced. There are probably better options for vocals but, it just looks cool.

It’s amazing how inexpensive mics can be these days. Of course I liked the shure the best but I think the 5 core was a very close second. What did you think ?
Nice job

Those are fun, the plastic mic had a very tin sort of sound. On a side note have you seen anything on the new teenage engineering sampler Grove box it's the dumbest/best thing ever. It's medieval themed

I do not hear not hear much difference but I do not have my headphones on. I would go with the 5Core RTRO-MIC-CHBL. just for the metal and the physical feel of it.

you do such net things... Thank you

What mic do you use for your videos? Would you feel comfortable using one of these in that role?
