Hello! This is the first animatic ( if i can call it that) that I have ever done! Please enjoy!

More of the story:
Draco and Harry got together before third year, perhaps they started off as friends and slowly developed a romantic interest for one another. In their fifth year, Harry is fooled to think that Sirius was taken, and the go to the ministry, except this time draco goes too. The video begins right after the ordeal, Sirius is dead, and Harry is devastated. Draco promises never to leave Harry, but soon right after, Severus and Narcissa come to take Draco to a safe place, since Voldemort now knows that he is a valuable person to Harry. They don't see each other until the battle of Hogwarts, where Draco see's Harry dead in Hagrid's arms. He's shocked and in pain, but he knew that Harry would want them to continue to fight. So he stands against Voldemort and gets ready to fight. Harry then jumps back from the dead and joins draco. After the battle, Harry wakes up in the infirmary once again, but this time Draco is there.

This is just how i imagined the story would go, but you guys can interpret it as you like

When Draco stood up to Voldemort I couldn't help but think of the deleted scene in the movie where when Harry reveals he's alive and rolls out of Hagrid's arms, Draco *books it* across the courtyard and throws Harry his wand. *Well done, this video gets a spot in my favorites playlist* .

Ok, anyone ever realize that Draco was one of the few people to look at HARRY before the scar? Like when he met Harry, he found out he was who he was, but then still proceeded to treat him like a normal person, while his own best friend asked him to show the scar as well as almost everyone else.

Edit: alright, so Draco didn't entirely treat him like a normal person, but in all honesty, I think Harry needed it. Not that he needed another challenge in his life, everyone knows he's dealt with enough of those, but to have a rival that didn't yearn for his violent death. Something that was, yknow, "normal." Someone to be petty with, while not needing to worry about him plotting Harry's demise. This, in my opinion, is part of why 6th year shook Harry so much in regards to Draco. This one thing, one aspect of his life that wasn't tied to Voldemort, now had to work for him. They couldn't be petty school rivals anymore, they were forced to become war enemies. This loss was transformed into obsession, Harry constantly fixating on Draco and whatever he was doing, because it wasn't just about Draco being a threat, but because Draco was the person who for so long wasn't one. As we know, even years later when they both have children of their own, the petty rivalry continues! They're rocks in each other's lives.

I actually think it would have made the Harry Potter series better to have a love interest like Draco; he's "bad" and supposed to stand against muggles and etc. I think it would have been interesting for Draco as a character to go through, realizing his love for Harry, leading him to become stronger than the fear of his father and expectation. Becoming his own person, and standing against Voldemort, his family, and even all of Slytherin House.

I can see how all of it would play out in my head.

I always end up coming back to this video and I always think about how Drarry was a wasted potential for plot.
I like Ginny, but Draco could've had a HUGE redemption arc.
