My 2000 C5 Corvette had this in... Well, 2000, 23 years ago! It is adjustable to what information is displayed, brightness and is adjustable up and down by 5 inches or so to account for seat height etc. HUD is great, should be a required safety feature. Ford should be embarrassed it is just now offering HUD.

GM HDs have had this for 4 years. Just another thing Ford copied along with bumper and bed steps

I've never owned a vehicle that had a HUD, but I've driven a couple that have. Do not like them one bit.. doesn't work at all if you have sunglasses on, and you can see the box thing reflecting on the windshield the whole time- very annoying. Also, I find it completely useless.

More useless tech in vehicles 🙄 I'm curious if these vehicles will last as long as older vehicles solely because of how much this tech will cost to repair & the fact that you can't repair it yourself because the system needs a dealership to "activate" the tech
