I hope Canon brings 4K-Fine at 60fps to the R5 Mark II with a firmware update.
The Nikon Z9/Z8 offered 8K oversampled 4K60p years ago so I‘m kinda disappointed that Canon still limits oversampled 4K (4K-Fine) to 30fps even though the R5C has 8K oversampled 4K60p.
8K oversampled 4K60p is really important to me so I’ll go for the Nikon Z8 if Canon doesn’t bring 60fps 4K-Fine to the R5 Mark II with a firmware update!

What are your thoughts on the Nikon Z8? A comparison between the Sony a1, Canon R5 Mark II and the Nikon Z8 would be very much appreciated. Maybe you can rent one for your upcoming comparison video! 😊

8K oversampled 4K60p is really important to me so I’ll go for the Nikon Z8 if Canon doesn’t bring 60fps 4K-Fine to the R5 Mark II with a firmware update!

It’s not true. A1 has worse dynamic range 100-400 and above it is identical.
