I like it a lot because it has a lot of personality like pre rework Aatrox. People like to hate on that Aatrox but one thing Riot did 100% right is his animations, he was way ahead of his time, a season 3 champion with so much love put into his animation, how it flows and twists.

Imo the best Aatrox skin that fully captures his concept is Blood Moon. The fact that he is the most powerful being in the Blood Moon universe should say enough.

I really like this Aatrox skin, it's about the typical contrast between the lighthearted heroes and the cool, takes himself too seriously, menacing villain and it's really well done.

I don’t care to much for the Anima Squad skins, but the Primordian skins are amazing. They feel genuinely menacing despite being set in a very funny anime universe, and the organic/synthetic aquatic theme is really cool.

Battle skinline used to be girls in sexy clothes, and now its a bunch of people dressed as furries. Primordian Aatrox isn't a furry since he isn't dressed up as an animal. He is an animal in a human like stake. Making him a humanoid being.

More people should realize this. Skins are basically an alternate version of them in an alternate universe, not a variation of themselves in the same universe.

see that's the thing, this universe shows him as this BBEG in every form but somehow makes that one-dimensional type of character look goofy enough to seem cocky and prideful but also cool enough to show him as a threat, it reminds me of all those over-the-top action shows like power rangers or powerpuff girls and their silly but powerful adversaries and i fucking LOVE IT

It's also just a good walking animation from an artist perspective. Aatrox in this skin line is supposed to be like 20 ft tall. This walk makes him feel heavy and chest out like a kaiju. He's the big bad evil guy and he knows it. Also it's the walk he does in the cinematic, so it's cool they paid that much attention.
