How Clan War Chest works and how much better it can be compared to 2 Clan Chests. With more gold in the economy and how clan war mechanics works, we should see a more balanced ladder system overtime. If you look at the numbers, Bronze 1st place chest is already better than the old Clan War Chest in terms of epics and gold value. With the increase in rare epic legendary and gold distribution, it should help balance out the overall game in the long run.

So if you are already at a nice level/clan the rewards are better. If you aren't you get less of everything. Nice way to cripple the development of new players.

Yeah but clan wars aren't fun due to being limited to only 3 battles on collection day and 1 meager battle on war day.

I also really like how this update brought so much more clan interaction with it, all of the clan memebers are now working together making decks, testing decks, and watching eachothers matches during the war day.

still prefer clan chest better, fair for everyone, this new clan war system are tired for facing everyday for war, and super easy get skip if too busy. And also, not every one can get 1st chest on each rank, so will become lesser prizes reward.

You compared the clan chests to 1st place clan war chests only. What if you get 2nd place or below for the clan war in your league? I don't think you will come to the same conclusion. It's easier to max out the clan chest each time than to consistently win 1st place at least once during the clan war season (also dependent on frequency of wars). Casual, semi-active or once in a while (and forgetful) players impact greatly on your chances to perform well in clan wars. This is not the case for clan chests. Doesn't matter how little or great each clan member gets for crowns it all adds up. If a clan is short, the enthusiastic players will know to pitch in extra crowns.

I think supercell shouldve included the ability to choose who you want to participate in Clan wars because some people go afk after collection day and that affects the battle.

This would make sense if clan chests / war chests were the only way people had of making gold. The reality is that when you ask people to upgrade ALL of their cards, this amount of gold for maximum performance in clan wars simply doesn't cut it.

Yes, some say that people wouldn't win all their matches, but also, this is assuming you get 2 level 10 clan chests in a row. Our clan, who is fairly stacked with pretty good players got to level 8 at best because we didn't play as often.

The chance for at least one legendary card to drop in 2 lv.10 clan chests is actually 17, 19%. You can calculate that by adding up the chances for the different cases: 1 legendary card in the first chest and 0 in the second + 0 legendary cards in the first chest and 1 in the second + 1 legendary card in the first chest and 1 in the second = 17, 19% assuming the chance for a legendary card in a lv 10 chest is 9%.
Mathematically speaking:
0, 09*0, 91+0, 91*0, 09+0, 09*0, 09=0, 1719

Firstly, you can't assume that you win all the matches in Clan Wars. A more reasonable approach is that you win about the half of your matches since you will be matched with somebody of about the same strength.

Secondly, you don't get 150 gold on Collection day for all three matches. You get 150 for one, and 100 for the rest.
