In part 5, you will explore humility — the attribute that defines modesty, sensitivity and gratitude. What is humility and why is it so important? Is humility a strength or a weakness? Humility is often confused with weakness, passiveness and lack of self-esteem. But on the contrary, it is actually quite formidable - it is recognizing your qualities and strengths and acknowledging that they are not your own; they were given to you by G-d for a higher purpose.

Let us explore, evaluate and understand how to actualize the powerful attribute of humility in our emotions, souls and psyches.

Dear Rabbi I hope you’re doing great. I appreciate that you are making different length videos some subjects require an hour and a half but with succinct delivery many can be done in 20-30 minutes which is perfect for my driving. Keep on doing what you’re doing, which is great at assessing the audience’s needs. Hatzlacha raba!

To me, Humility is perhaps giving way to others opinions when you know that deeply you hold the reason but will try not to assert yourself as the right person just for the sake of being right, you let it pass because you just know that any type of confrontation is not worth the stress, being humble is being able to live an easier and more relaxed life. Let’s see if I am close.

Humility will be defined and observed differently to what different people value and to which ideals they will surrender their own will. So humility is just afact tbat one puts other things over their own ego and so in different cultures it will be different things.

I truly have no idea what it is. EVERY TIME someone throws out their take: I have no idea why the action they’re promoting should be considered the preferred behavior. I HAVE found that it’s definition is deeply cultural. Being one who lives at the intersection of 3 cultures I can say one action is boastful in one culture and is exemplary in another. I wonder then what some biblical examples would be for all of us.
