In this video milky talks about the strategy that he ran today on stream, a strategy to best utilise cheap Delirium scarabs. The goal is to reach 8 Delirium tiles as quickly as possible and then kill the boss to increase that value to 9. Then end the deli, pick up the loot and go again,.

- tested deli scarabs of paranoia
- figured the best method was to get the most rewards in the shortest time rather than going for like 10+ bars per map
- strand is bis for deli
- used 4x Paranoia 1 Mania
- Tree is min maxed for 8 rewards as you hit the boss (9/10 time this worked for me)
- 8 mod maps only
- invested 7div
- returned 47 (excluding filler and lucky drops) in 3 hours
- scarab prolly go up, deli orb prolly go down, still prolly ok

After testing a bit with different configurations, it seems to me that the real prerequisite to getting 8 rewards before boss is +40% pack size on the map (which means 8 mods)
Beyond kinda does nothing, you can lean more into shrines with domination craft, get more monsters and most importantly more power. Getting good set of shrine buffs (like repeating + speed + chaos pops) helps a lot

Great vid, spot on regards the profitability but I wouldn't run beyond. Instead you can just run ritual chance without running the rituals. That way you get a lot of extra monsters and can hit the 8 rewards milestone as well without all of the hassle of running beyond (e.g. waiting for them to appear lol)

This is best for a specialized build like flicker strike, you really need to be doing one minute maps to really make this strat pop. Before soulthirst got nerfed this would be a perfect build for this.

Been playing it and seems like a good strat. I didnt do precise calculations but theres net profit even after using 4 instances of the 5c paranoias. Also the loot explosion after finishing the deli is very satisfying. So long as you dont die often and lose the deli before boss this seems very easy to do.

Checked ninja to make sure the scarab prices didn't spike but ofc when I go to actually buy them they have spiked 🙃

Was good last league already even when limited to two scarabs of mania. I think the low value of cluster jewels is not because of that strategy but because of the titanic scarab. I dropped multiple 3 passive mana res eff 84+ from them which I didnt in like 200-300 maps with the delirium strat last league.

Your scarab prices seem off. Paranoia has been more like 5c in bulk for a few days now. I’ve been doing 2/3 with red altars in city square (just alch+go). Pop a red altar pack, boss rush, then round out 7 rewards and get your mining node. Much faster, even for my slow character, and I find I’m getting a lot more gold/hr this way to keep the town running. Boss rush is always good - invitations and synth/conq map drops nearly pay for the strat themselves and deli drops are icing on the cake at that point.

I used to hate running Deli. Was running Expediton and Harvest before, slotted this on one of my Atlas and never looked back since. Clearing still abit clunky as my character isn't exactly a full mapper build but working on a map blaster character to really run this full steam.

i suggest the exile strat you did, but with ritual to revive them over and over, its extremely profitable, and fun aswell.

did you also try one scarab of neuroses for the deli boss spawn, they can spawn multiple ones which add a lot of splinters. or arent you really interested in the splinters?

I'm playing an ephemeral edge trickster with a mageblood and found this to be very difficult. Not because I would die but because I just couldn't kill anything fast enough. I reckon you really do need the headhunter. I unspecced Decent into Madness and it still got too hard towards the end. I had to also stop using the Mania scarab. I instead used a domination scarab for a couple more shrines in it's place. I can get 7 reward layers with 8 on the boss so one less reward rollover. But I also had to take The Singular Eternity along with the two Fog Dissipation Delay small nodes. And I was seconds on running out of fog while killing the boss usually. It was still profitable. I still often got like 7-14 deli orbs along with a ton of random stuff. One of my regular farms is harvest so I am sitting on the juice to convert the orbs to one of the top 3 sellers so that helped my profit a lot considering I didn't need to buy the juice per se. Worth noting this is terrible for gold. And in my case really bad for the league mechanic all together. As activating an ore node does not stop or slow the fog down. You either need to backtrack the map for the ore node and gold or not get the extra reward rollover from the boss. This hard choice made me only be able to do this for 10 maps before deciding it was not for me.

tldr. You need a headhunter setup to be able to perform anywhere close to as advertised in the video.
