Well well well, maybe the increased color variants in the maps lead to more currency gains? Is the grey map meta shifting? What's going on....

tfw you make as much currency running alc & go maps than delirious maps ... what...?

Great vid, been experiencing similar myself. I think some of the other factors contributing are shifting supply/demand of scarabs as well.
Juicing maps with scarabs has been extremely cheap these last few leagues but currently many rusted scarabs that used to sell 5 to 1c are currently 3-4c in bulk each.

With the aura stacker nerfs and increased profitability of bossing, many of the old 100% deli farmers are focusing on other content and not flooding the market with scarabs, meanwhile, due to atlas passives, there is WAY more demand from solo players and smaller teams to run scarabs that synergize with certain passives (eg, Emblematic in New Vastir + Rusted Legion Scarabs)

Not to mention that Deli isn't a zana map mod and the increased price of scarabs/juice makes Deli harder to force spawn in regular alch & go maps leading to WAY less Deli Orbs floating around.

So basically, costs to run 20/40% deli maps are way up and many of the reward outcomes just aren't making the big bucks anymore. Aurastacker nerfs means less people able to farm Simulacrum and less demand for Voices but free Deli Maps from atlas passives leads to a healthy supply of Sim Splinters which means even Sim splinters are cheaper than what they otherwise would have been.

Personally, I think 20/40% deli farming is dead outside of farming your own maps from Lex Ejoris. Just ain't worth it otherwise. And anyone able to do 100% deli maps atm are making big $$$$ on scarabs. So many teams and 6-mans are focused on bossing and churning out Maven/Sirus cycles that the 100% scarab deli market is once more very lucrative.

I think they nerfed deli since you can drop natural 20% deli maps

Right now I've been running the metamorphic delirium orbs (40 %) and they are actually decent profit. Catalysts on average are about 1c and the orb only costs 8c. You will drop about 20 per map with minimal investment.

Another thing I noticed is when trying some legion orbs and getting about 200 incubators is how much money you get when you always have 10 incubators running. Just from using my about 20 currency and harbinger incubators I dropped 1 ex, 15 ex shards and a couple of ancient and divine orbs. Incubators still probably aren't worth buying. But taking the time to run some legion orbs to farm some incubator really does not seem bad when they are only 7c.

Pretty much my experience. I did bunch of 5x currency orb in Std while testing the build. Fully juiced maps up to t19, every one of them was barely break even or even waste of time and currency invested. In short, wasted about 30ex doing those tests...

I had 5 deli orbs on day 2 for sale and no one bought it for 5c-10c... yesterday I logged in and people spammed me and I was like "I feel a great disturbance in the force"

ive been doing delirium with the atlas thingy with the cheapest kind (usually 2 fragmented) and it works like a charm cuz u will almost always get 2 bosses which drop 40 splinter in total which make already up for the cost for the delirium orbs. Also u often get elder/shaper fragments so fragmented aint that bad and they are cheap

Fine delirium orbs are a noob trap IMO, timeless delirium orbs drop a lot of good splinters if you don't mind filling your inventory with incubators, and foreboding drop a decent amount of ancient orbs and in red maps they drop t15 beachheads. Cartography orbs got changed and now drop decent maps. If you are looking for returns on the delirium orbs you want to push to higher reward tiers though, like 10+. Elder scarabs are still pretty decent even if bases are worthless as they add a good amount of packs to your maps. So give timeless or foreboding orbs a go, I would stay away from the worst orbs like armoursmith since they never drop anything of value. And are just a straight up loss. Even if higher tier orbs don't pay for themseves, they might be a 3-4c loss instead of a 6c loss for the worst tiers.

It sucks BC isn’t in Valdo section bc then you would be able to have harbinger for free every map including reinforcements which just adds a shit ton of monsters

I only run 40% delirium maps or above, I usually run 60% or higher for special divination cards

Do you include the ritual rewards as a lucky drop?

I think delirium is worth for 80 or 100% as each orb adds more mobs and therefore they boost each other

Appreciate you losing money and time to test for the broke boys.

i think the reason GG shaper/elder bases are so cheap this league is because the "add influence" harvest craft is pretty common. people are selling them for like 20c each on TFT

even an 86 elder bone helm is only 2.5ex right now

These clowns will do anything besides fix the game when it comes to making people play longer. How this game still has a player base is unbelievable.
