Watch as a 220-pound weight is lifted with just a glass of wine, and the impact is so smooth that the liquid stays perfectly still. Mind-blowing physics!

When you sleep in physics class, everything in the world would look like its defying physics.

I feel like there's no liquid in the glass.

Since everything is labelled in Chinese, pretty sure the "liquid" is hardened epoxy resin.

bruh how I'm a gonna question the laws of physics when the laws of physics are what's causing this in the first place 💀

It’s in an airless vacuum it’s acting exactly as the laws of physics say it should.

*This invention will make you question the glass' authenticity 😂

Did anyone else notice that "liquid" never even wiggled once? Not even when it came to an abrupt stop at the top of the chamber...
Thats something like jello or honey in that glass.

This invention made me confirm all the laws of physics I know. People saying is not a liquid inside the cup slept in their physics classes.

It's not defying physics, it *IS* physics

Liquid is hydraulic fluid used in the shock absorber.

Im not saying this doesn't soften the impact but that liquid would move slightly no matter what. Even when lifting and it came to a stop liquid would ripple. It doesn't take a physics professor to know this. I wish people weren't dishonest like this.

"...Glass of wine...". NOPE! Syrup, yes!

Just by hearing it I imagined a glass of wine lifting the weight. I was disappointed when I looked over to the video

I used to step off a falling elevator without missing a hair. Its all about timing and being a cartoon.

Ummm… this didn’t make me question the laws of physics. It actually proves the laws of physics. The 100kg weight, the glass, and the liquid all fall at the same rate. No surprise there. Then the spring slows all three down in a controlled direction with no lateral movement.

Not that unbelievable when you understand the physics, everything falls at the same rate, the weight the glass the liquid, the shock absorber did just that, absorbed the shock....you're welcome

the liquids a paid actor, but seriously, that liquid would have reacted to the sudden drop before reacting to the sudden stop

I think the glass is somehow connected to the weight because wouldn't their be a bit of a delay from the weight falling then the glass will fall very shortly after?

It’s 100 kilograms.
Why can’t Americans get their heads around metric measures?
It’s even got 100 kg written on it.

It doesn't make me question anything. It just confirms what i already know about physics.
