Despite years of seeing "cursed" Minecraft videos, edits, memes, etc this is by far the most violently uncomfortable I've ever felt. The thought of a game that has a mind of its own and doesn't follow simple computer instructions is super unnerving.

This is exactly what i expected by a "no code ai game" lol
Just heaps of data fed to it so it can generate images and based on input it modifies them in a dofferent way. But the only "permanent" things are on screen, looking somewhere else just generates things anew.

I'm willing to bet that the screen is square in order to remove webcam/Vtuber stuff that's usually in the bottom right or bottom left corner. As in, they had it trained on gameplay footage with the sides cropped out because of that.

EDIT: this probably isn't the case (see comments about the keyboard inputs), so take this with a large grain of salt.

So basically at the moment to create an AI game you have to:
1. Create a real game
2. Record Millions of hours of it
3. Find a way how to interact with it
4. Play a game that can't save any information that is outside your screen.
Let's see if AI games will actually become a reality, especially with it halucinating. I don't think it'll work out that well.
