This is a useful video thank you. I was not locking the larger cushion of my 2019 F150 Lariat in the up position. I did not realize I had to snap it up for the lock to engage. Now I know.

I permanently fixed that problem! I simply removed the latch assy. from the back if the seat and put it down on the floor at the back of the cab. If the next owner wants it back on the have it to do that.

I seen in another video similar to this is that they used a small closed end wrench to make pulling the latch release thing easier. Thanks for the video.
