Edit your original job description-add your new responsibilities; new degrees/certifications. 3.Position yourself for a new role within the company— have a clear idea of what salary you want. 4. Do a “salary” search on companies in your state//focusing on industry and job title. This is to make sure that you are getting a comparable salary. 5. Now, place all of your research within a document and let this serve as talking points when you ask your manager for a raise. I have gotten very complacent at my job and realize recently that I hadn’t asked for a raise within the last five years. Now my company has been very generous with bonus twice a year and an annual inflation increase. However, I still should have been looking for ways to promote myself for a title change. You can do it!

Nice advice. Whatever company pays you they charge clients three to five times your wages. This might not be true for all companies but is true for most public sector. Everything you buy is overpriced. There also are fees, charges, surcharges, taxes upon taxes, hidden costs, buried costs and so on. Henry Ford said it. I will give you money but take it all back because I own everything you buy or use. HAHAHA 😂.
