Sir Keir Starmer holds aDowning Street press conference on Tuesday (20 January) as a public inquiry is announced into the Southport killings.

The prime minister is set to speak at 8.30am, following an announcement a public inquiry is to be held into the murders of three girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport by 18-year-old Axel Rudakubana “that can get to the truth about what happened and what needs to change”.

The announcement came after it emerged Rudakubana was referred to an anti-extremism programme three times before he carried out the murders, and endangered his former teachers and peers.

No apology to the 'far right' people who objected to the cover up and were given extreme sentences. Justice for them?

Isn't it a bit 'far right' to talk about this? Arse! Now he's blaming it on social media

Keir Southport is as equally despised as Axel Rudakubanah.

There were countless witnesses and masses of incriminating evidence. How could he possibly have walked away a free man? What public discourse could have made the 'case collapse' to that extent?

The robotic muppet like monotone conveys absolutely no sincerity whatsoever. Sad orwellian state.

Why is there no accountwbikit6 for judges in the uk. There must be accountability to prevent this and future events and mass gang rapes of British girls by certain communities to stop

BBC Nicky Campbell phone in with all callers carefully vetted by "researchers". All callers blaming "loners" on social media and not a word about the obvious common factor. One contributor calling the Southport murderer a "victim". Starmer's obedient little servant the BBC.

Public enquiry? Evil nut bag gets knife and tries to murder loads of young children and adults at a dance class. There you go, I've saved them millions of quid. I'm fuming. And what about the people in prison for the, in my opinion, justified outrage and demonstrations? They aren't allowed to have human reactions or emotions to things like this now?

There are few jobs for school, college and university leavers. Employers seek unrealistic levels of experience. Families who aren’t well connected cannot support their young adult children to get a foot on the ladder of decent employment.

What a spectacularly bad time to bury bad news about the lack of a public enquiry into the “Rotherham scandal”.
He is absolutely transparent now.

Just caught Radio 5 presenter nicky campbell ask a long, rambling, multi-faceted and ‘closed’ question of a Inquiry involved Stockport chap, who, when he replied with “Yes!”, so didn’t know what to do with that answer that the chap actually had to ask “Hello, anyone there?” As a radio pundit, Campbell came across poorly equipped for his job in today’s world.

I'm pretty apolitical. Left-leaning conversative if you were to push me. Kier seems like a nice enough bloke. But he's a generationally terrible politician.
