Meet Quinella, also known as the Administrator in Underworld of Sword Art Online's Alicization Arc! Child of two high nobles of Centoria, Quinella rose the ranks of power and established the Axiom Church!

Meet Quinella, the self-proclaimed Administrator. Quinella is the ruler of the Human Empire in Underworld as the supreme priest of the Axiom Church, and is the main antagonist of the first half of the Alicization Arc.

But Quinella’s everlasting beauty was not as eternal a long, long time ago. Born from the marriage between two strong noble families, Quinella had inherited an usual amount of desire to rule over others and to obtain more power. Having been granted the Calling of practicing Sacred Arts by her father, the Lord of Centoria, she studied the rituals and eventually started to understand that the Sacred Tongue was, in fact, a language. Having deciphered the English used in the System Commands, she used her knowledge to conjure the first offensive Sacred Art, the Thermal Arrow. Quinella used this newfound skill to hunt animals, and realized that doing so increased her stats: her Object Control Authority and her System Control Authority, displayed on her Stacia Window.

Higher authority led to more knowledge. More knowledge led to more complex rituals. By utilizing her newfound power, bestowing gifts and miracles upon people, she convinced the citizens of the Human Empire that she was blessed by the gods. As a result, it didn't take long for the little girl who studied Sacred Arts just years ago to found the Axiom Church and proclaim herself to be the supreme priest, the highest authority after the Stacia and the other goddesses of Underworld.

With the establishment of the Axiom Church, Quinella took various measures to ensure nobody would be able to figure out the secrets of the world and possibly overtake her authority. One such measure was the creation of the Taboo Index, the absolute rules of the Human Empire. Under the guise of eternal peace, the index would prevent the citizens from indulging in activities that may increase their stats. She had taken so many steps, spent so much time to ensure that nobody would be able to overtake her in terms of authority, that she herself needed more time now.

Looking at the mirror, her wrinkles reminded Quinella of one inevitable fact every day… She was running out of time. Quinella spent her following days trying to decipher enough commands to bless herself with eternal life. Even on her deathbed, she was calling up commands to find a solution. Either by way of an impossible coincidence, or perhaps with a little help from the true gods from the outside, Quinella found the door she was looking for…

Eventually figuring out the full command after finding this lead and thus gaining access to the entire System Command List, Quinella altered her stats and regained her youth in eternal form. She truly had become the Administrator. But even the Administrator herself had issues that transcended eternal life..

As an Programmer and It-Specialist (well currently just an aprentice) Quinella is even a more interesting Person to me.
An Object/instance created by a system class, gained acess to other private functions and parameters using a system originaly created for the true administrators or to limeted use by other classes.
How hardcore is this ?


Somhow i also can identify with her craving for power.
She is cool, acts cool, looks nice (don't care for her age, first it is just simulated, second other forms of life are having a different livespan. In fantasy worlds i may also would take a vampire or a elfe, even if they are older.) and also the fact, that she gets more and more vunerable (nneds to sleep more in her age) makes me want to protect her.


And since i am a programming and game design skilled person from the outer world, this would make me even stronger and more powerful than her.
I think i would use my power to server her and to show her, how to manipulate and change the world to her needs and wishes even more...


Only her taste is a bit odd.
I would have created myself someone better as a servant, than this ugly clown guy...

Everybody spoke about how Alice is a bad-ass female character but look at Quinella. There should be a serie on its journey to power.

Quinella is extremely intelligent though, Kikuoka can just extract her fluctlight, but maybe she is too uncontrollable so Kikuoka just call Kirito to enter this world and eliminate her.
I'm sure if she managed to escape into the real world, she will exceed Yui and Kayaba sooner or later.

To be honest, They should have left her to live. Not because of some Die-hard Simps, but because that she just wanted to meet the creators and practically be free. She'd practically be harmless (apart from her personality) in the real world and I could just imagine her trying to process everything only to knock herself out because her Fluctlight went full.

I wish the ending was reimagined, like how is she become greedy, and in the end, she regret her actions and miss her childhood, but instead, they show us her being happy in the afterlife, not feeling any remorse.

I also wish she got more screentime and have a decent fight, she's not as powerful as she was in the manga and in the video game.
