This is why we had doors put into our house, after we bought it. The cats are not allowed into the breakfast or dining rooms, nor the kitchen, pantry, and laundry areas.

And we had to baby proof the door levers, because we have one cat who figured out how to stretch his long body up, wrap his paws around the lever, and pull down. So, now you have to push up the levers into the rooms we don’t want them going into.
