What a happy surprise, and I had a strange feeling you might be bringing home some ratties!! *grins* 😄 Charlie and Jake are gorgeous and it truly is so sad to think of what feeder rats must go through. I can imagine how upsetting it was for you, but I am glad they have a chance at a great life now. 💕 Their cage is so happy and colorful. 💚 💙 💜 It will be great to see not only hamster videos on your channel now, but also rat videos! YAY! Although I have no plans to get rats, they're so lovely to watch and very intelligent like you said. Congratulations on your new boys! 🐭 🐭

Congratulations, ah it's so lovely to see you with rats! Aww they are so adorable, I love hooded rats! :D They have found such a lovely home and they already look like they're settling in :) Charlie definitely has ruby eyes, they're so pretty. Awh it's a shame about the place you got them from, I can kind of imagine how bad it was. The things feeder rats go through is so sad :( You basically rescued them which is so nice :) Aw from what you were saying, it's lovely Charlie is already warming up to you. Awh no poor Jake, I hope the vets can give him some treatment soon. Also you're welcome, I am always here to help with rats so if you have anymore questions feel free to ask :) Hugs! <3

This is amazing to see that people are actually whole hearted enough to save humble little rats and give them a chance at life... Jake and Charlie are so cute <3

I got my dog from Craigslist. Sad. His picture was literally just his face. So we didn't think that it would be bad! But we were wrong. His name is boss and once we went to pick him up. He was stick. Thin. We had to rescue him immediately. The owner of him said that he would be back because he had to go to the bathroom and pick up his adoption certificate for us. He acted like he was the best owner ever. But obviously not. He came back from the bathroom and we asked what he fed boss. He said, "well I don't always have enough money to buy him dog food, so I give him one slice of pizza a week." In my head, I was like omg. This guy feeds him once a week! And pizza?! Wow! Then he said that boss was about $150 he said that he forgot to get the certificate thingy. So he left for like 5 minutes. My mom was telling my sister and I that this poor dog want worth $150. She said we should get him for free. So the guy comes back and says ok so here is the certificate, so you wanna see him? We said sure. So he led us down into a cold basement and there he was. Lying on a freezing cold hard cement floor. With poop all over. It was like he was just a pile of bones! The man said come here boss! But boss didn't come, so he went over smacked him on the heads and told us to watch out. Then he dragged him up the steps. I about cried. Once we got upstairs we hadn't said anything yet. And he left to give us a collar. Anouther 5 minutes passed. My mom said. " ya know what?! Screw it. Come on girls" she picked up boss and we walked out the door. (Keep in mind. He is a Great Dane and my mom said he felt about 50 some pounds so it was easy to carry him) we put him in the back of the truck, and the moment we started to drive off, the man was yelling at us to come back. Once we got home, we took him straight to the vet. He was only 62 pounds. When he should have been over 100. Now he is a happy dog with a loving family. But when we put our hand over his head, he still flinches because he thinks we are gonna hit him. This was random and stuff but I wanted to say that Craigslist isn't the best please to get pets..

You have no idea what you've just done. Rats are one the most incredible pets in the entire world. No exaggerations. Rats are loving and passionate creatures and are truly amazing animals.. the only downside is unlike hamsters they get really sick really fast. Take the time to love them, they have short lives and you want to be a part of them for as long as you can. Welcome to the rat community <3

Yay!! Welcome Charlie and Jake!! So amazing you got rats. They are adorable. One day in the far far future I would love to have rats too :) Sad story about the feeder rats though :( Don't want to think about it too much xD But Charlie and Jake are VERY lucky to live in such a pretty cage and with such an amazing owner 😄 Hugs to you, Mochi, Charlie and Jake!! <3
