Nice video at least had brains when doing the comparison testing with the same reel, lure my rods are 6’ but I wanna go out of my comfort zone and go longer....Just today I’m going to buy that exact Shakespeare rod in 7’ they sell them at Walmart for $20 but I continually hear good things about them so I gotta buy one. I’m gonna take it out and fish with it today how it performs. What’s your overall thoughts on the Shakespeare rod? It’s the micro series right?

I prefer shorter rod. Because I fish in virgin rivers in the the middle of he forest where there are a lot of trees, bushes, so to avoid snags while casting and also because I can move between places easier.

The control. Of each Rod is different also. You didn't show that when you're casting with a shorter rod. You have better control over where it goes.

Can you at least choose a clear day to do this experiment? I can't see anything with the fog

Other then the length difference. One companies UL is another companies ML. There is really no way to say UL vs any other company action. My Diawia UL is stiffer then my St Croix L. The StCroix is a verly UL rod. So until you canst a rod your know know.
