The simple theory concept behind 'adore u' (by Obongjayar & Fred again..)

Obongjayar wrote this gorgeous song, and Fred again.. reworked it - now the two songs tell a dramatically different story, despite sharing 99% of the lyrics - so how did that happen? In this video we explore the concept of 'juxtaposition' in art composition: the combining of two very different ideas, that leads to an unresolved tension that the audience actively wants to resolve, drawing them deeper into your art.

i kinda had this per accident and the result was really interesting, proving your point. sometimes, when i produce, i get lost in the sauce so much that i miss obvious "errors". then by listening to the track i noticed a drone that was suddenly "darkening" (not dissonant, just minor ig) the rest, chill vibe track. and it was kinda cool, so i left it.

It typically signifies a straightforward or literal interpretation of something, often lacking subtlety or irony.

I totally get what you're saying about juxtaposition. I think it's also an isolation thing. As you've said before, collaboration is a great way to get you thinking outside your routines and stock gestures. Once you had that experience, you can break out more easily. Change up the energy. Get a different perspective.❤
