Thank you for your constant explainations!
Coming from completely diffeennt martial arts and only having very limited experience in Muay Thai you really help me to understand the nuances and make them easy to remember due to them being reasonable 🤘

Thank you for saying you shouldnt be completely square, I feel thats where most people get it wrong. I was told one shoulder should be slightly more forward than the other depending if you're orthodox or southpaw.

Great to see this kind of basic tutorial in detail because basic stuff is important to get right from the beginning.
It could be also about throwing jab/cross and how to properly throw them (with the whole body movement) and what should hit the target (like knuckles).
Same for kicks: for a beginner it's not obviously at all that you should hit the target with the shin for a roundhouse kick.

1. Stand straight with legs wide open(not like a stretch)
2. Lift up your right foot to stand on it's toe
3.left feet and right feet:45°/135°
4.bend your knees to create a lighter pressure and allow better footwork
5.keep both hands making a fist at eye level and keep your chin down
6.relax shoulders

The thing I noticed about Muay Thai fighters is they are standing straight up their spine is completely straight meaning they don’t bend their lead knee or leg like a boxer would I think that’s why I’ve been getting it wrong I would bend my lead knee and have too much weight on my front leg which is a easy target for leg kicks I learned the hard way trust me lmao 🤣🤣🤣

This was fantastic. Quick question as well. If you have time. My whole life my legs have been tiny. Like no matter what I eat how much I put in work. I mean I walk to work everyday 3 miles there 4 back. However I have realized that alot of the problem is I'm bowlegged lol. So that being said my shins and my hips are in weird directions lol. That being said do you have any workout tips to gain some meat in my legs. Any kind of tips for bow legged ppl would be great thank you 😂😂 an I'm being completely serious!

That front foot should be up to block the kicks and the hands should be angled more and a bit higher up the chin should also be tucked
