Raheem Sterling and Joe Gomez in bust-up on England duty

The England football manager Gareth Southgate has compared his squad to a family after having to resolve a confrontation between two of his players.

Manchester City's Raheem Sterling is to sit out the game against Montenegro after an altercation with Liverpool's Joe Gomez.

It came after the two had had words on the pitch in City's Premier League defeat to Liverpool.
