Story #2 reminds me of a student that I had a few years ago. He was quiet, very intelligent, but he also enjoyed capturing and torturing animals. He never told anyone about this, but he felt comfortable sharing with me. We were eventually able to get him help, and now he is doing very well.

I never understood why parents or older care takers never seemed to believe a child about their "imaginary" friends. If a kid is genuinely trying to communicate about something just listen for once. Kids deserve more respect and credit than they are given and deserve to be heard. They have a voice too.

1st Story. Well you know thats a good babysitter when they think of saving the kid before themselves.

2nd Story. Why didn’t the Mom get her kid a puppy at first. But more importantly why would the Mother not care that her child killed those poor animals? The babysitter should just call the police or something instead of doing nothing. Why would the Mother even get more pets after that? Plus it sounds like she might have killed her own Father.
