The problem is when a shipper ask you for a quote for a proyect that will start in 2 months and they want a fixed rate per miles and stops, for all loads in that line and market change sometime over night, in this case what broker can do ?

One issue Brandon: "profit" is relating to an investment in the form of capital or infrastructure and a selling price. In this case (brokers) what actual capital or infrastructure do you have in the load?
