Visual Studio Code is a popular and versatile cross-platform code editor that provides a wide range of features to make coding easier and more productive.

To install Visual Studio Code on macOS, follow these simple steps:

2. Extract the zip file and you will see the VS Code app.
3. Drag and drop the app into the Applications folder.
4. Open the app and start coding!

Thanks for the explanation. Simple but effective. I have an M2 processor and I just starting with some issues when I was trying to create react app with Vite. I just need to re-install the old emulated version of VS CODE with this new version deployed.

A Trick to give attention: uninstall the old version of VS CODE first also if you have installed the PWA of VS CODE, then, reinstall this new M1 and M2 processors version of VS CODE.

Best regards :)

is it mandatory to do so? Please let me know..
