Will I be able to have variable speed if I purchase the connectivity module Bosch for my GKS18V-68CN 18V BITURBO circular saw? My saw does not come with the HMI on the tool itself. Thanks

What speed setting can i ajust from on the gws 18v 15 125mm sc grinder in the bluetooth app. Can u adjust up or down in 1rpm increments. I understand it gives u option for a another 3 speed settings.

Bosch have got their connectivity completely wrong - a case of a solution looking for a problem.
Consider, I do not want to get out an expensive phone to set the speed etc of a tool (nor do I want to carry a second cheap phone for the job either) - I do not want to have to take gloves off to operate the phone to set up the tools - I want to be able to set it using a dial or knob on the tool with gloved hands.
Festool have it right - using Bluetooth to switch on and off dust extractors. Imagine working up a ladder with a cordless tool and an extractor on the floor. Bosch's solution is to start the extractor and then climb the ladder to do the work. Festool will turn on and off the extractor as required using Bluetooth.
After your last Youtube video I asked whether anyone actually used Bluetooth Bosch's way - no one replied they did.
Time to rethink please Bosch.

Most of these things are gimmicks or very niche, but the one thing missing is the one thing people really want: being able to disable the tool when it gets stolen, like Milwaukee.
