Met Edd at a motorsport show a few years ago, what a genuinely nice guy he is. Interesting, knowledgeable, polite, and totally likeable.It was like chatting to a good friend, you’ve known all your life, even though I’d never met him before.
Edd was Wheeler Dealers, that’s why I watched it. I wish Edd all the best, he deserves it!

I beg to differ... Edd China is definitely the star of wheeler Dealers....  I find Mike over confident and cocky...  to often he comes across annoying !   Edd China is absolutely brilliant.

Even though I am a woman, I'm a bit of a petrol head and watched the show because of my interest in the mechanical repair section. I never liked Mike as much, the whole boasting car salesman thing got really on my nerves. And now this, after 13 years, and Edd being nothing but a gentleman about the whole a shitty thing to say. Seems I judged Mike correctly.

This proves to me that Mike Brewer will never be half the man Ed China is. He has not made any derogatory comments toward Mike Brewer. I think it's a case of the fact that Mike Brewer has realised that he was never the star of the show and he is showing deep resentment about that and displaying his obvious immaturity and lack of intellect here. Leaves a very bad taste in the mouth.

What always struck me about Ed was how well spoken he was and articulate when explaining the logic and reason for his actions when working on a car. Ed is a natural presenter and could probably present on any show about any subject, whereas Mike struggles with his grammar and pronunciation and has difficulty saying the word THREE. Mike has missed the point, WD was a tv show not a real garage set up, if they took into account Ed's labour costs and expertise, they would have made a loss on every car they touched. The point of the show was demonstrate Ed's abilities to diagnose, repair and bring back cars to their former glory. Perhaps Ed doesn't need the money any more but it would be a shame if he doesn't stay on our screens, he has a lot to offer.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion Edd was pushed out by Mike to make way for Ant. If you have ever seen wheeler dealers live at the NEC classic car show, ever wondered why Ant was always up on stage with Mike? Mike treated him as a co-presenter on that stage. This was well before Edd left. Such a shame. Seeing Edd being so gracious, and Mike peddling poison like this, I know who I am inclined to believe. Shame on you Mike Brewer.

The thing that annoyed me most was that always when the car was done and Edd worked his miracles and worked his ass off, it was MIKE who did the testdriving while Edd was always the passenger..
