When we were in our early 20’s, chasing our own dreams of living in Europe, we met one night at a pub in Florence...11 months later, we were married! Having been together for 4 years now, we have lived & worked on 3 different continents & even on a cruise ship!

I convinced my wife to travel to Sicily from the US because of your videos. We LOVED Taormina and Cefalu. Agrigento not so much, but we lived it up in Sicily. Even got paninis from your friend in Taormina and a lot of pistachio gelato. Cheers!

As an Italian but not a Sicilian I have no problem saying that Sicily is the most beautiful region of Italy, it has everything, Greek, Phoenician, Roman, Norman, Arab testimonies, high volcanoes, spectacular archipelagos, small picturesque villages that would overshadow the most famous ones. positano, Amalfi or Sorrento. And unfortunately I think it is the 10th most visited region in Italy

In 2014 I visited the home land of my forefathers. I am also blessed to have a last name of one of the towns in Sicily, called Collesano. It is a small but beautiful Renaissance town. I love my heritage.

Sicily is marvelous! We've been here in Palermo for almost a month. We went to Ortigia which is gorgeous. Then to Agrigento which is breathtaking. Next to Cefalu. It's chilly this time of year, but there are no crowds.

Have been to Italy 10x, and Florence is my fave(you did a GREAT job there). Just got back from AMAZING Catania, and have to say, it was as good as Florence. The duomo, the medieval streets and vibe, cheap and great pizza. It even has an every day outdoor market that rivals Milan. Messina is a working class town with little to do, but the 3 euro, 20 min ferry to Calabria was awesome, museum and best gelato in Italy, Cesare, 3.50 for 3 scoops!

Nice list. We spent a few days in Noto last Fall, but we've never been to Modica. All your other picks are among our favorites. Each year we try to visit a few old favorites and hit a few new spots. Have fun touring the rest of Italy. We're looking forward to watching!
