Just finished reading this book over Christmas with some friends! We all tore threw it so fast! I think you hit the nail on the head in that it gives you that feeling that ACOTAR and other great fantasy books give you. I called the end end as well. Overall I loved the world, characters and the suspense she built!

I gave this a 5 star...I think the number 1 reason it was hyped was because u could get the book with sprayed edges and 2nd it was a good book

I picked this book up on a whim when I was at the bookstore and knew absolutely nothing about it but man oh man am I glad I did this was the book I had been looking for for months! I read and listened to this book at the same time, and it made my reading experience 100 times better, so I would definitely recommend the audiobook. I will definitely be picking up Book 2 when it comes out in the fall. This is probably going to be my best book/series of the year, but it totally left me in a reading slump because now nothing seems as exciting when I read it. I guess I'll have to go reread my Veronica Speedwell series, that series always helps me when I'm feeling slumpy.

This book series is the best book series. I think I will ever read. I have just gotten halfway through this book. I bought it a few months back but forgot about it and now I am completely obsessing over this book and it is an amazing series to read and I’m a little disappointed I didn’t start sooner, but it’s the same time. I kind of timed it perfectly because as soon as I’m done this fourth wing book I’m gonna move onto the iron flame. And third book onyx storm won’t be out yet so I might have a chance to read all three books together so now that I’m halfway done fourth wing I’m about to buy iron flame once I’m done forth wing I’m gonna read iron flame and then I’m gonna have about a month and a half, so I’m going to re-read both books and by the time I’ve done both of those books the Onyx will come out and put it on pre-order So I hopefully get it right when it releases, and then I can read all three books back to back not forgetting what happened in the last book

So, I loved this book. One of the best books I’ve read this year. I wasn’t too upset with the names. I actually liked that I could pronounce them and didn’t have to look them up 😂. As for Dain, I liked Dain the first few chapters. I thought he was being protective and was honestly worried for Violet. But eventually he started to get on my damn nerves. I literally started calling him Dain the Pain in the ass. As for the touch, it went over my head!!!

This book got me out of my reading slump! I loved it so much and depressed it’s over. I need something similar to cure my sadness. Any books you recommend that would be similar-ish? Have yet to start the ACOTAR series. Would this be a good one to start after this one?

I started reading the book a while ago and finished it and was scared because the like one star reviews I was seeing were pretty discouraging then I realized there were just a few negative reviews and like ten times more positive ones and actually ended up liking it 😅

I finished reading the book yesterday and am blown away by how good it is🥰❤️I love the characters and especially Violet's. I haven't read many dragon stories the last one was in "Crave" but I didn't like the fact that they turn into dragons but here OMG😍 I love Tarin such a wonderful animal. I have so much going on in my head that I can't even put it into words. I didn't anticipate that with Dain either, I felt exactly like you. I cried so much when Liam died :(( I loved him so much!!! I just can't believe he's really dead yet. It happened too fast for that, I think we'll see him again <3

YES!!! Oh my gosh! I have NOT stopped talking about this book since I finished it! So darn good! 20 stars out of 5! I got goosebumps while listening to the audiobook.

I can agree about the names for the most part. I have a feeling that she named the main character "Violet" simply so that she could use the nickname "Violence."

So I hate the memory stealing thing and hate that he doesnt have faith in her but also I think we can understand the death rate in this school. Realistically what are the actual odds she would survive? I really understood his panic in the beginning and really continuously because youre afraid to lose your best friend. It was just too much after a while.

I really, REALLY enjoyed reading Fourth Wing. So much so, that I've pre ordered the second book in the series. Fourth Wing is one of my top books for 2023, along with Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh. I actually know someone that has that medical disorder that Violet has. I liked that Violet always found a work around, for any difficulties that she encountered. Fourth Wing is Eragon meets ACOTAR meets Hunger Games meets The Last Graduate.

I liked Dain at first... But then he got annoying with the whole "you're weak. I'm just trying to protect you" mentality.... Then he stole her memory and now I hope Violet at the very least stabs him next book...
