Firstly, I’m so sorry for your losses ❤ secondly, thank you for sharing about them in this way. I only cried a little 😅 and usually I even skip these topics because I’m totally wrecked by them. In my first pregnancy I had a lot of bleeding and brown spotting and the weeks didn’t match the baby - I was even rudely told that I’d had a miscarriage. I was a nervous wreck and extremely superstitious for the whole pregnancy. But it ended up fine, she’s now 6. With my secondborn I was dreading being pregnant & being in fear 24/7 again. But he came in ”guns blazing”, I felt super connected to him from the beginning, first super nauseous and then felt his kicks every day. I trusted my intuition with him even trough doctor’s worries. But he was fine and is a super chill baby (which my firstborn was NOT). I have a lot less postpartum anxiety too. I 100 % get how scary dreading miscarriage can be, even though I luckily didn’t end up having it.

Thank you for sharing, Gina! I had a similar experience and resonated with your protective feelings of detachment from your second child throughout the pregnancy. I'm sorry for the ER doctor, he handled that poorly and no one deserves that kind of treatment when going through something so traumatic.
