Thanks for taking the time to cover this game! I played it on stream back when it was freshly released, and I can already see some differences in the versions. And I have to say, this is a step up, but also I feel more validated in my struggles. X'''D The audiologs didn't originally come with a visual transcript, so I'm happy to see the dev team took my advice on that one. Yeah, it is overmixed/overfiltered, and yeah, it is all the same voice actor. Which, I get. When you're a small team and not everyone is comfortable acting, that happens. Frankly, I'm surprised they tried to give us so many characters when that was the case, but hey, A for effort!

We also both struggled with the monstrous Turnipy AND missed its introductory scare in the grate before being chased by it. During the stream, I actually had one of the programmers show up and tell me that if you die after picking up the light, you will still have it in your inventory to use in the next section. So it's nice that they don't punish you for dying too much, but it's a little odd that the game doesn't tell you this. The Turnipy's ai is a little odd, and it moves much faster than you, but with some work, I feel like it could be a better enemy.

My greatest takeaway from Sock and the Dark Revenge is that, while it's not perfect, it's clearly something its dev team had fun with, and for that, I respect it. There are lots of things I like: the original models and art assets look great. The human-shaped character in particular were really pleasant to look at. Things feels stylized well, and dare I say it, the "walking through a sketch" art style fits a comic book studio really well, dare I say better than a rubberhose cartoon studio given how it leans into it. This thing is less a Bendy fan game and more an original idea in a Bendy style because that's the preference of the creators, and that's bananas to think about. And while that second ending put me off a little bit, I'm still glad we both got to play and explore it.

at first when i was watching the video i thought oh its a funny little spin off of bendy but when i saw the second ending i was like wtf this is really getting creepy the poster really set my one edge tho i do like how it got the horror conceit with the second ending i kind of hope with that secret ending it'll led to a alterative part of the story but either way its really good anyway Mike please play more of this game when chapter drop !

Visually, this game looks 100% like its for Bendy, they really captured the art style. The character designs are also pretty fun and its interesting to see how this will tie into the greater story of Bendy. However, the voice acting is very stilted and robotic. I'm guessing rather than find people who could do the voice roles, they just members of the team already working on it. And whilst not interently bad, having one person with little to no vocal range is a detriment to the already meh dialogue
