What is the pituitary gland? The pituitary gland is a small gland with a diameter of approximately 1 cm. It sits within a saddle-shaped bony cavity called the sella turcica, at the base of the brain.

Just a little suggestion/question. Do you think in the future you could also explain the hormones created by these glands so we have a better understanding of how the pituitary gland works and the differing functions between the anterior and posterior. Also love your channel this is super interesting. Love to learn anatomy. Thanks for your time! Keep up the good work!
