I’m glad you said what you said about Tulsa being like the Austin of Oklahoma. I completely agree with that comparison, having been to both cities. Thanks for all the info. I might consider moving to Tulsa one day. I’m pretty sick of being in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Greetings from south Texas 🇨🇱, I just went to work for a week there this past week, I was surprised how friendly people were with me. That's something I don't see in my home town. I loved it.

You forgot to mention our Lakes, Jellystone Water Park in Mannford, Hiking Trails & Outdoor Festivals, Buffalo Prairie, Sand Dunes for ATV in western Oklahoma. There are Many Many Great things about Oklahoma and why you should live here. Tulsa offers $10K to relocate from another State too🌺

8:40 Jenks. Does not show up on the map

For those of you who are wondering Jenks is directly to the South of Tulsa. The Arkansas river splits the two

You forgot the toll roads!! Big con to living in Tulsa. Also traffic isn’t that bad .. try living in Atlanta Georgia, that’s where you find crazy drivers and traffic backed up for hours, and hours.. The weather is my biggest con for living in Tulsa, along with the fact that it’s land locked, no ocean near .. Tulsa Oklahoma is my home town, but I love living in South Carolina…

I am a long time Austinite and really pissed off at what has happened to this city. It is just NOT the same and EXPENSIVE. I am seriously considering Tulsa and if i like it i will buy.

Compared to Wichita, Tulsa has more meandering roads, the river flows naturally so it dries up in the summer, and that oil refinery on the shore doesn't help the development of the river area. If they can control the river flow to ensure it remains flowing year-round, continue to develop the river, that would help.

I just came up from Austin and am liking it. Yes, I'm super shocked by the state of the roads. That's the thing most people in other cities complain about but I never notice it as a problem but here it was the first thing. Even riding my road bike on the streets is not very comfortable until I get to a proper bike trail. While your explanation of the hot and cold makes sense, some of the pavement looks like a really old style that hasn't been updated in decades so it could be neglect as well. Anyway, I'm having more fun than I thought I would exploring around town.

The Cains Ballroom, Cedar Rock Inn which is a BEAUTIFUL bed and breakfast, they have great concerts on the lawn in spring into fall, Coney Islander, Claudes hamburgers, Brookside, Downtown Tulsa is really growing. Tulsa is a great place to live!

I know most of these pros, and cons very well. As far as cons, you're definitely not wrong about traffic, and the roads were the worst.

Midtown Tulsa about 1500 -1600 sf. home (3 bed, 1.5 Bath, 2 car garage) on just under a 1/4 acre lot Property tax this year is just a little over $1700. Houses in this area/size run about $130k - $160k on average. Great neighborhood not far from the Tulsa Co. Fairground.

Thanks for the great video! I've been hearing great things about the Tulsa area and I'm thinking of moving there. The allergies sounds like a big turn-off, but everything else sounds great. I'm not a religious man, but I do have a lot of appreciation and respect for religious communities. So long as y'all don't mind a friendly atheist, I'd love to consider Tulsa a new home for a while.

Love T-town. But would say it’s more of a small Kansas City (i say that because Tulsa feels more midwestern and cosmopolitan than say OKC—nothing against OKC, it’s a nice place too).

Interesting list though. I’m glad to see Tulsa getting some recognition lately. We’ve always had a lot of potential as a city.

Last thing, you should’ve highlighted the Gilcrease Museum, such a great place. And the Philbrook too.

Road conditions: ROAD WORK EVERYWHERE!!

I love the storms and no Tornados while in the Tulsa proper. Outline areas are pretty well SCREWED!

You forgot to say that the Gathering Place is FREE!!

Also, we have easy open and conceal carry laws and we're a Stand Your Ground State.

I’ve never been to Tulsa, but I’ve been a lot of places in OK and I used to live in Oklahoma City. The thing I hate about Oklahoma the most is the earthquakes due to fracking. OK surpassed California as earthquake capital of the world in 2015. We have tornadoes in Texas and they suck… but at least you can hide or run from them. There’s no escaping an earthquake.
