SHINee's Taemin Shocks Hyeri With Alarming Story Of Home Break-In

SHINee‘s Taemin recently made his solo comeback with his fifth mini album, ETERNAL, and the title track, “Sexy In The Air.”

Taemin, guested on Episode 24 of Girl’s Day‘s Lee Hyeri‘s online show. Hyeel’s club to promote his comeback. During the episode, Taemin revealed he enjoys horror movies, provoking Hyeri to ask if he gets scared easily.

Lee Hyeri: But you do feel scared a lot, right? Do you easily get scared? Those who easily get scared are like that. Really?

Taemin: I think I do get easily scared. In that sense. Just average.

This reminded Hyeri of a haunting story. She asked, “Would you like me to share a recent scary story?” She was attempting to go to her home on a certain floor, but the 13th got pressed instead.

Another day, a friend visited and she experimented with the elevator again. It was chilling, knowing the superstition behind number 13.

Taemin then shared his own scary but true story. He revealed his house had been broken into, shocking Hyeri.

Taemin: It’s not so similar; actually, I’ve had a thief break into my house.

Lee Hyeri: Isn’t that quite different?

Taemin: Really? It happened about a year ago.

Taemin revealed it happened about a year ago. Yet, he doesn’t quite believe it was a thief, as he couldn’t determine if anything was stolen. Instead, he discovered stuff left behind.

Lee Hyeri: A thief?

Taemin: Yes. I don’t think it was really a thief. I’m not sure what was taken.

Lee Hyeri: Did you forget it, or did you lose it?

Taemin: No, actually, something appeared.

Lee Hyeri: What?

Taemin: They even left behind trash.

Lee Hyeri: In your house?

Taemin: Right. So since then I’ve installed CCTV inside and outside my house.

Lee Hyeri: I’m so scared of it. That’s more scary!

Hyeri was stunned by how calmly Taemin recounted the story. He explained that he was scared at the time, but now as time has passed, he’s okay

Taemin: So, I was scared at that time. I was worried that someone was hiding at my home. Like the horror movie. They hide under the bed, right? I can say that.

Lee Hyeri: Why do you talk about it like it’s not scary?

Taemin: Because a lot of time has passed. It was scary back then.
