Jenna Ortega Says She Filmed Dance Scene While Having COVID

Netflix’s "Wednesday" is facing controversy after Jenna Ortega revealed she filmed the show's famous dance scene while sick with COVID-19. Ortega says they continued shooting the dance scene while waiting for the results of her COVID test which came back positive. The production company insists "strict COVID protocols were followed and once the positive test was confirmed the production removed Jenna from set."

To be honest it's not really her fault, it's the production crews fault for making her film even when she told them of her symptoms..

This wasn't Jenna's fault. She explained her symptoms to them and they told her to film anyway. For anyone who is blaming jenna, just remember, the crew knew about her symptoms and told her to film and dance anyway. I mean, if she was poorly to the point where they were giving her medicine during takes, shouldn't they have told her to go home anyway??? Instead of blaming jenna for being selfish, maybe blame the crew for knowing she was poorly and still forcing her to shoot.

My friend is a nurse that that works on movies set, she does daily Covid testing for everyone before they start the day. She says that if 1 actor or 1 cre member contracted covid, the entire crew and cast stops filming until that person is removed.
