I'm having trouble blaming a 20-year-old female actor who agreed to work at the urging of the production team for what is arguably her breakout role. The pressure to do whatever it takes to success does not always entail sexual abuse. The culture demands intense commitment in all of its workers, especially women.

I think everyone is too mad about this, Jenna Ortega could have easily told them she was too sick to work and not worked until after recovering, but she didn't, and she pushed through. People saying she was irresponsible is also not valid as she was not confirmed to have COVID, which these days is usually not all that bad. Not to mention how amazingly she performed, even feeling the way she did. She deserves praise for it, not backlash.

I understood everyone's concerns about the issue. If you're infected but barely showing or feeling any symptoms it's very possible you may not have spread it to others.
Especially, if you had massive amounts of antibodies injected into your system for a different illness, and that carry over could very help you to fend off infection.
