There is literally no reason that a game like this with online multiplayer can't have local multiplayer. It's straight up just not acceptable. Local requires far less time and effort to develop for a game than online, if you do one you gotta do both. It was an industry standard to have local multiplayer decades ago. This is not news, this is not negotiable...

The combat in particular reminds me of *"TMNT: Battle Nexus (PS2)", * which is my ALL TIME FAVORITE TMNT game, so this is looking promising from that perspective at least! :)

It’s weird to see TMNT in indie directs considering how big of a franchise it is now. Then, I remembered it has roots within the underground comics scene.

Not to mention the creators are still involved in every project as to why it’s had such staying power for 40 years.
