The first raw I tried, I got a better result in LR than gigapixel. And it has the advantage of generating a dng with all raw info

Thank you! Am I correct in understanding that if we use the Super Resolution feature, the Intelligent Noise Reduction feature will not be available for this file? So they can't be combined? Or or...

Thanks for the tip. Having all the others I will never need to use it though.

Do you recommend doing your edit before or after you do the resolution enhancement?

I am curious if you would consider the fact that LR is enhancing a RAW image while the others enhance a Tiff in your comparison video.

Anthony, What do you think of the increased resolution capabilities of moving the file to Photoshop?

Would it be better to expand resolution on full size image before cropping in?

Another killer pieced of helpful information Anthony, thanks for the help. Recently I watched one of your videos and in LRCC you opened the EDIT IN function and you had many editing tools available to use. How did you get them to populate the Edit In feature, I can only one at a time and I would like to have my Topaz and Luminar tools available to me? can you point me in the right direction? Thanks Tom

What's the point? The other 2 apps are dedicated to one purpose. And why take a photo that you have to crop so severely?

Lightroom RAW to enhanced DNG. The other apps you mentioned, start from a .tiff or other file. That’s a deal breaker. Plus, you don’t end up with a new RAW file.

Obviously Anthony one is NOT increasing the resolution - all one is doing is enlarging the source image.
Yes I know Adobe Lightroom calls this super resolution -- this is marketing BS. Enlarging does not increase the resolution at all.
As you note there are many tools to help do this - Topaz Giga Pixel AI is currently by far the best, whereas I find the LRC Enhance "Super Resolution" one of the worse.
