QUICK PEEK & STRAFE TUTORIAL w/ Keyboard Cam (My Version) | Rainbow Six Siege

I know it seems hard but it just takes a lot of constant practice to get it fast. Noted has a video on an alternative method if you would like to check it out.

another thing that works for me is the two side mouse buttons (MB4 and MB5). mouse button 4 is peek right and MB5 is peek left. what i do to strafe is roll my thumb in a certain way to quick peek-strafe, and while it works just as good, this worked for me. of course it was a learning curve getting used to peeks on the mouse, but if this too difficult for anyone you can try this too 😁

@Nero How does pressing Q twice help? instead of just pressing E next (for right lean) & D simultaneously.

how did you practice the basic QE-EQ-QE-EQ....? I mean to do it really fast is kind of hard because you almost have to press Q and E at the same time but with a millisecond delay between them. I find it hard to consistently pull it off, after a few flicks from one side to the other I get stuck for a second or two and mess it up. Are you conscious of the key combinations all the time or is it more like a matter of feeling for you?

Idk if I was lucky by that but my first mouse was the Rocca Tyon and she has that sneaky side buttons you normally use for browser so skip forward and backward but I realized you can use them for quick peeking also is that legit? Or am I a skripter? Idk 🤔

I know how to play Rainbow but I fumble with the keyboard because I used to play on xbox. Ive been having such a hard time moving while trying to peek and Im gonna try this in t hunt.

When u are in a casual game and u are anchoring and nothing is happening so go practice ur fast peeking and strafing instead sitting somewhere and doing nothing, u will learn it so fast

To do it faster you have to use your third finger on Q followed by ring finger holding A, then click to shoot, then immediately hold D with your index finger, letting go of A and then press Q with your ring finger, followed immediately by E with your middle finger

What I don’t understand is how to strafe and lean simultaneously. Using your fingers for WASD and hitting Q/E 4 times inbetween.
