Pathways to resilient, blue-green growth for cities

Urbanisation brings challenges of infrastructure provision and increasing exposure to climate risks, but also opportunities to leapfrog to resilient infrastructure. By designing with water and aligning with socio-economic and environmental drivers, the water cycle can deliver wider benefits. In this session, we explore three city case studies using governance, spatial analysis and machine learning approaches to deliver resilient, blue-green growth in Addis Ababa, Hull and Shanghai.
