I lost two television stations, just glitches, but all the others were fine. But after watching this youtube I reset it and then it found them again so thank you Toshiba. Not as nearly as crappy and crashy as my Microsoft Surface Pro or Lenovo tablet. This was its first issue in about 8 years

I will never buy toshiba again...difficulty just turning it on and it comes on on its own in the middle of the night....it's going back to Tescos ....stick to Sony from now on .

I'm going to give you guys an easier way instead of trying to find the code or in putting a universal code all you gotta do is go to where it says enter PIN and if you don't know your PIN or forgot your PIN I got you go to the part where it says enter PIN do not hit no pins in just hittin info 4 times within 5 Seconds a menu will pop up saying enter new code and then enter new code again and there you have it you can put whatever code you want in just make sure you hit info 4 times within 5 Seconds if it doesn't work the first or second time keep trying it and you will see a menu screen pop up works every time guaranteed

Heh yeah it worked, after all the troubleshooting of all things attached (you don't want to but you have to isolate the problem)" and then watch an awesome YouTube about it and I did all of the above and it fixed my "Newish 32" Toshiba LCD TV" Thank you for helping, Kal :)

click on menu which will bring up 3 or 4 places where you can access with your right arrow, the one you are looking for is automatic reset, press on itand that should do the job, with some you have to ok it before it is done.check that you are not using crap batteries in your remote control if you are you may not be able to perform the task.

My 10 year old 46" Toshiba Regza just started giving me problems.
Neither my remote nor the buttons on the TV work as they are supposed to. Yes, I did change the batteries, obviously. :) The problem is not the remote, it's inside the TV.
On both the remote AND the buttons on the TV, only some functions work, like Power on, sleep timer, VOL Down, CHAN Down but not UP. On INPUT, all other input options ca be accessed, but "0 - TV/Antenna" is grayed out... Can't select it. On MENU, I can only go down, not across and I can't OK selections. Can't type "0" on the remote.
The "unplug for 1 minute to reset" doesn't do anything on mine...
I did a "unplug, then ON THE TV press and hold the POWER button for at least 1 minute, then release and press each button ON THE TV at least 3 times, then plug the power cord in again", which worked but it's a hassle having to do this every few days.
The problem seems to the main board inside the TV.
I love this TV, it's been great for 10 years. Hopefully it can be fixed.
Just ordered a board, will post update once installed.

My screen was so dark for almost 2 years, turns out the energy saving mode was on. After I turned it off it’s like it was brand new. Thanks for giving me the idea to fix this

I have regza 24 inch TV
it's not come in video selection there shows only components so continue Show B/W picture

Horrible support. No telephone support and no real chat support. I know what I need to do but NOWHERE does this site or the user manual tell me how. According to Netflix (great support, BTW), I need to update the Netflix app on the TV and the TV says no update available! SO every time we watch Netflix, we have to reset the TV!! . . . no more Toshiba anything in this household!

I accidentally locked the panels so how do I undo this? Also the remote is long gone so no way to actually fix this with its remote

Thank You .... I was about to Buy a Monitor / TV for my Computer desk Detup & I was handed down a 24'' Toshiba TV ... that had a password on it .... I tried 1234 & it work. Hopefully it helps those trying to it.
