On my 6 year old minecraft server with my friends we have a field full of named charged creepers buried just below the surface like land mines. We farmed them for days straight to get practically endless mob heads, but now we forgot where we buried them exactly. Every one in a while someone wanders into the field and normal creeper blast will free one

You can stack a 100 wither skeleton and a charge creeper and get all of the 100

(only in bedrock edition)

That's how my friend and I collected wither skeleton skulls. We built a portal that connected to nether fortress and a dark area, used boats, then a channelling trident during a thunderstorm to get the desired three in a row.

Also drops the head of any mob that has the corresponding head item, that's how you get the Ender Dragon head as well

Back in the day we had wither heads on console when the wither wasn’t spawnable yet
