For me personally, I'm not in it for the value. I really enjoy the art work in this series. With the few packs I opened, I did managed to get some nice cards.

I did bought one on releases date. I got gold Miraidon ex, Alt art Miriam, full art arven And both normal Gardevoir/Miraidon Ex. I’m really happy I got the Miriam.

Definitely a great box, it was my first booster box and it was really fun to open. I think I’m pretty lucky 🍀😃

The quality was ehh.. more than half of the alt arts I got had horrible centering.. but overall got 1 of my chase cards, so I was happy.

I’ve opened 4 booster boxes so far

In each booster box I got an illustrator rare, 1st koraidon, 2nd penny, 3rd jacq, 4th Miriam….almost convinced it’s one per box

The only SV booster box I've opened so far was pretty good! I got a few Illustrator Rares, the Gardevoir ex IR and my #2 chase, the Miriam full art.

I'll be waiting a while to buy another one, and I'm planning to start buying singles to be more conscious of my spending. If BBs dip to $100, I'll bite though haha

It's supposed to be fun, it's a game. All of the talk about value and getting your money back on YouTube is getting to be a bit sad. It's nice to see someone like you doing it for what it was meant to be, for the fun of it all.

The answer for litterly every set ever both already made and future sets is the same as always. No. The answer is always no at the end of the day it's not even just if u manage to hit the chase card ( most often u simply won't ) but then there is the question of condition which in English is rarely a decent cut/centering and then even if u pull a good condition chase card it doesn't mean u can get the market assigned value and that value assigned is on top of all that very volatile.

So short answer no it's never worth it value wise. However value isn't the only reason to open booster boxes part of it for me is also the fun of opening packs and seeing all the arts even the common once hench why I usually end up buying a few. Each to their own at the end of the day.

Really appreciate your channel, I like the education, authenticity of your love of Pokémon cards, and your even keel approach! Lost a ton on these booster boxes, not after money but these were tough in general w the cost etc. 🍻

I used to hate on 5ban graphics too BUT the rainbow burning shadows Zard is 5ban graphics art as well as rainbow vstar from brilliant stars. But I get it however there are a few exceptions.

My family has only opened 1 booster box and 2 ETBs. I pulled the Miriam out of each ETB (bought at 2 different stores). We don't really collect trainers so I went ahead and sold both of them.

The reason it was acceptable to pay 170usd for a box was cause of the great potential of a single card be worth more than the box. I don’t get how people accept Pokémon removing all that value yet keeping the price much higher. Bring back the packs to 3usd then this would be ok. Now they are 6usd.
Collectibles are not about the money for moneys sake, but anything fun to collect is something not everyone has and that means high price. What is the point of everyone has the same thing.

The reason I open packs isn't to sell them or get value from them. It's really to see if I can get a full (basic) set. First box I opened of SV and I nearly got the full 198 set. Just missing a buncha EX cards. If I get Secret Rares that's great, but not chasing them.
