I tried speedrunning Learn To Fly 3 and upgraded my penguin beyond comprehension

Learn To Fly 3 is the final game in the Learn To Fly series where our penguin finally gets his chance to destroy the moon. Speedrunning the game is a good time too, even if it might require a bit of grinding

The hedgehog is actually a reference to another game that's literally the same as Learn To Fly 3, but I think it was the first of that type of game to become super popular. Not too sure- I remember playing it before any other game where you launch yourself to get money & eventually go to space.

In my AP calc class my friends and I spent a good 2 weeks playing this game and after a ton of testing we figured out that you can win the 200, 000 meter one in 3 days if you optimize it almost perfectly, and anything above that in just 4 days. For this speedrun, you could go for our 4 day strategy; first launch you go for flight time with a gas booster, because that gets you more money than any other launch method for the first day. Second launch you go for speed with a sonic boost and a body (El Fuego I think). Third day you can use some sonic boosts with El Fuego to hit around 250, 000 after you upgrade them perfectly, and then same strategy gets you over 1, 000, 000. It's all dependent on you not slamming into a random flying object, but it goes fast enough that you can just try again if that happens.
